It is not the receiver RSSI, but transmitter side RSSI of received telemetry signal. For receiver RSSI we need that receiver will send RSSI by telemetry. No one DSM2/X receiver doesn't send RSSI.

I've been a long-time Deviation 3.0 user with thousands of trouble-free flights on a Devo 8. The release of 5.0 has me wondering if I should finally upgrade. I fly helis and with DSMX. Outside of telemetry, are there other compelling changes in control algorithms, etc? I've been very impressed with the stability of 3.0 - not one glitch or problem since 2013.

Would Deviation 3.0 models be compatible with 5.0? Can I directly upgrade from 3.0 to 5.0?

Apologies if these questions have been already addressed.

Hi Vlad,

found by accident this older thread and your posting.

I read on www.rc-heli.de that the newer Spektrum telemetry T receivers have got firmware updates in 08/2017 to fix the 11ms and 22ms bug and that these T receivers have now integrated RSSI:

It's been a long long time, I just decided to clean my DEVO 7E from dust as I am building a drone. Now I have DSMX SXRL2 receiver that supports RSSI, I can see it on my flight controller, I get some telemetry including GPS etc, but no RSSI. I can't find any info for DSMX and RSSI on this forum seems like only frsx is supporting it in deviation ? was there any update on this ?

So... i'm having the same problem with my 450 flybar and i switched from std gui to adv gui and everything started to work as it should be... but, my only question is: How to setup the gyro sensitivity in the adv gui?
