is there a way to change the distance covered
I use a Devo 7E with 5.0.0 Deviation with a modification CYRF6936 module.
I made the short circuit the diode.
I edit the file hardware.ini
[Modules]
has_pa-cyrf6936 = 1
it works very well with my RX601 I have increased from 300 meters
is there a solution?
thank you

Are you sure you made everything right on short circuiting?

First thing I would do is buy a "good" receiver and then check your range with Spektrum (DSM) FlightLog and TM1000.

I have only rx601.
and my short tour yes it is well done because I saw great improvement with my rx601 distance.
can you tell me what other RX 6 chanels not expensive are compatible with deviation?
Spektrum I know not compliant models and found the list of compliant RX Deviation
thank you

DSM2 sucks anyways...not compatible with newer ETSI 1.8.1 in EU because it is no FHSS jumping protocol: www.rcmodelreviews.com/dsm2flaw.shtml
At least I would be looking for a DSMx receiver which supports telemetry and FlightLog.
There are some threads about newer OrangeRX or LemonRX.
But some tests with those in a German forum on newer transmitter where not so good (DX18/DX9) - FrameLosses raised too much.
I have no idea how good actually they are and if the FlightLog really works on Devo transmitters. My plan is to test in summer.
I personally would first focus to get a telemetry which is not only half-range / parkflyer.
The TM1100 half-range / parkflyer is fine for 450 helis.
Honestly I can not give you the advice you want to hear.
IMHO this is the wrong concept to focus on "non-expensive" receivers without FlighLog (DataPort).
It may cost you your model if it does not work as it should. They will give you no warranty for your models.
Therefore I have to leave this thread to the other guys here which have more experience with Oranges and Lemons and how good actually their telemetry are with Devo transmitters.
If you really really really want to know if your hardware mod is working you should get a genuine Spektrum RX, a TM1100/TM1000 and read out 6 FlighLog numbers on 30/35m++ max to ~60m distance as already suggested.
At least you can then compare all the "good" FlighLog/telemetry numbers from Spektrum RX to Orange/Lemon & Co number laters.
I hope others will jump on this thread.

DSM2 is perfectly fine.
I hadn't heard of Redcon until a few months ago, but my research indicated they are pretty decent; several range test videos side-by-side with lemons, a genuine AR7010, and a fake AR6200, showed it to be pretty-much as good as the AR7010 and better than the lemon and fake AR6200 (which was pretty dismal).

Hi,
I'm very glad to hear that RoGue_Streak, as I just received those same 2 Rx modules yesterday also.
Still waiting for the quad kit to put the 6-Ch in and have nothing yet to use the 4-Ch in either.
But I will report back here with my own test results when I have done them so we (community) can get an idea about the quality / issues with these little Redcon receivers.

This is my first time to actually use DSM protocol, I have been using NRF24L01 installed and it has been working great..
Anyone else tried other settings?

I read that many AR6200 fake receivers are around...

I don't understand. Why can't you guys just buy a normal genuine Spektrum receiver like AR6210, AR610 from a good HorizonHobby dealer, etc.
