Nano Hex/Quad for deviation JJRC H20 vs Eachine H8

Hello all!
I've got the "itch" to try a "Nano" (or is it "Micro"?) sized quad or hex multirotor with my Deviated Devo-10, for indoor flights mostly.

I've done a bunch of reading, and settled on 2 models:

JJRC H20 Hexcopter
Eachine H8 Quadcopter

According to my reading here, they should both be controllable from my Devo-10, with modded (added) nRF24L01 module which I've already done.

For those who own one or both of these multi-rotors, what do you suggest? Pros? Cons? Any problems or special care needed with Deviation? An reason one of these might be better than the other?

I can only afford one of these right now... please help me choose the right one.

go for the eachine h8 or a flureon h101, (gearbest has the h101 on sale for $13.99 atm!) then when you are ready to progress into acro or full 3d mode (3d is only possible with the flureon h101) you can upgrade the quad's firmware using silverxxx's code www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2512604 and have a whole new experience

I bought an H20 from Amazon but had to return it since it came with two defective motors (!!). And I have an H18 which I cannot get a bind for, have no idea what the protocol is. If the eachine is a stable deal, I am going to follow HappyHarry's advice.

I have the H20 and it continues to be one of my favorites. That being said, it shares the problem of most micro quads that motors are a constantly failing. Between the high acceleration and inevitable hard landings, your soldering skills better be good, and will certainly be tested!

I love to tinker and solder... so that doesn't sound too bad. I figure anything I buy in the "nano" size will require some motor replacements from time to time.
What do you like about the H20 that makes it one of your favorites?

Pros: very quick but controllable with the Devo. Yaw rate is awesome, lights are good, I rarely have issues with orientation. And it looks cool, with the six legs and styling. Good review, here .

There are cons, as you'll see in the reviews, but these are all manageable issues for me.

Maybe someday someone will build a brushless 150-250mm version and I'll be all over that.

I'm kind of leaning toward the H20, since I've never owned or flown a Hex...

As for your brushless micro wants, I'm surprised there isn't a brushless that small! Seems like a market nitch that should be filled.

125mm, Brushless, DSM2 protocol, should be Deviatable. 12 Min. flight time. I'd be all over it if it weren't for the cost!

EDIT2: Just noticed it has GPS support. Hmmm... think I might eventually end up with one of those!

EDIT3: Found another: RotorX RX155. Super pricey, Brushless 155mm Hexcopter. Tasty, but out of my paygrade.
