Setup: Devo 7e. Deviation 5.0. DasMikro DSM2 Receiver. Cleanflight/SPRACINGF3 1.13.0 (brushed)

I *am* new to this but am running into an issue where regardless of the +/- Scalar or Min/Max I simply can't break past a throttle input of 1860 and I'm trying to hit the 1000-2000 range with 1500 being the middle.

I've fiddled around with Min/Max and Scalar and can't go ~ 975 or above ~1860. As a result, I've just set it up so that the range is roughly 1000-1860 with a mid point of 1436 (I'll revise that to 1430 shortly.) I've used the subtrim to get the mid point to 1436 (again gotta fix to 1430)

Two questions:
  1. Using this method do you think I'll be able to access the full range i.e. Max Power?
  2. Am I making a bone head move and missing some really obvious stuff here?

Picture of some settings attached.
Note: I adjusted the "MaxThrottle" and "Stick Max" to 1860 AFTER I realized I couldn't hit 2000. When it's set at 2000 I still can't get "2000"

May be your receiver is the limitation. If the firmware does it not set correctly, these are the limits. Try to seach a forum for "DasMikro".
Did you already update the firmware?

Oh! I didn't know that was also a potential issue! I haven't done down that path yet - but I will now. Thanks.
I'll post back if it leads anywhere.

Thanks thanks thanks!

Have you done a stick calibration on the 7e?

You sir! Are amazing. Thank you very much!
I've got a little homework ahead of me - but I have a number of options here it looks like.

My apologies for not catching this from the banggood review!

Just for the benefit of others that might happen upon this here's some of the options that the banggood review mentioned:

it wouldnt read the full range of my sticks in clean flight . i switched to a spektrum 6100 and the issue went away.

Just use Cleanflight\'s rxrange command to correct this. There is nothing wrong with the receiver.

FYI - The CLI rxrange command was just the ticket. Thanks for guiding me in that direction aMax!

One thing that I did notice is that Cleanflight's channels appear to start at 0 whereas Deviation's start at 1.

So, by running the command below you would be modifying Channel 1:
rxrange 0 975 1860

The sytanx for the command is:
rxrange <channel> <min> <max>

Don't forget to
save
!

Nice to see that my little comment on Banggood about using the rxrange command is helping people. :)

I say this genuinely: This stuff is crazy, right? I can't tell if this community is really small or everybody involved is just ready to google the hell out of the internet to find the answers .... It's all just so interconnected. You see the same people pop up everywhere lending a hand.

I'm floored by the collaborative nature of this hobby.

Thanks so much for leaving that comment, and aMax for pointing it out - shame on me for not finding it first :)

Yep! Yep! That was the forum that led me to the Devo 7e and to here. Thanks for the tip though!
