Switches + Lockrings was created by Stefan_Z
I just dropped my DEVO and one of my 2p switches is broken.
I know BG sells those:
www.banggood.com/RC-Transmitter-Switch-F...32.html?rmmds=search

So far so good, but I do have other / better sources for the switches - but not those sexy lock-rings...
Regular lock-rings are just flat hex-nuts, does anyone know what the technical term for the DEVO ones is or who sells those?
Also: Any clue about the tool for properly fastening them?

Hello,

the Thread is not Metric on Devo 7
The best Way is to Change the Switch with the original Nut.

The Tool to release the Nut ist here: google "ziermutterschlĂĽssel"
The right one is the one with the little 2 Pins on the Frontside.

i hope it helps

p.s. i done the dirty way to open it, i used 2 Flat screwdriver and a little Hammer to open and close it :)

Those look nice - and the tool is included.

But I cannot find the simple chrome ones like on the DEVO...

Hello,

if you have a cheap switch from out side EU then the Chance is good thad the Original Nut from the broken Switch is going on the new Thread
My replacement with blue Bodys from Ebay Germany dont work 2 Weeks ago. I used the supplied on from the new Switch itself .

May be a Chines Version works better with the Devo Nut.

Well basically I want to find a supplier for only the rings, so I can use just any switch and still have a fancy lockring.
But those might just be custom made, so chances to find metric ones or just a 100 pack for € 4,- are slim I guess...

These pointed one are of basic quality, they have heavy lash sometimes.
And yes, without that lockring you can get them cheaper, indeed.
But the quality will still be very basic ;)

BG is also selling toggles of much better quality

Suitable lockrings with Ni/Cr-Finish I found some months ago on Ali but they are gone now..:(
On ebay there is a seller offering 8 colored Alurings for 6$90.
Please have a look for "Transmitter switch cap Futaba"!

Please note, there are several variants of lock nuts, i know four at least:
1st: knurled ring
2nd: outside flatted
3rd: FUTABA styled, i.e. FRSKY, DEVO/Walkera, WLToys, Radiolink...
4th: some famous vendor, name forgotten

Hey,

My switch locknuts / lockrings are always loose. I already lost one and my switch is now held in place with duct tape. So I need some info:

What are the dimensions and thread type for the locknuts?

I want to create a 3D printed replacement to hold my switch in place. But I cant seem to find much info about them. I could probably take one off and try to match the dimensions at a store, but Id rather not risk losing another one.

Ive seen a few generic replacement locknut kits, but they are way overpriced and there is really no way to know if they would even fit.

So if anybody knows the dimensions, or at least the thread type, please let me know.

If I am able to create a working 3D file for the locknuts, I can share it if anyone is interested.
