Devo 7e 3 position switch problem was created by Yellow Monkey
I have a 7e set up with 2 three positions switches installed. It's been working fine for months. But I'm now getting strange switch issues.

I use a mix that was posted here some time ago to make SW B0,1,2 output -100,0,100. But recently every now and then the switch does not respond at all, it may even flip back to a default output of -100 or 0 (sorry i can't remember) and I even thought it might be picking up SW A input when nothing was changing on SW A.

I've been using an older nightly build to get E010 cover and have just changed to f9f36db to get the Flysky support. I did notice that sometime recently the nightly builds have added support for a larger number of switches. I'm still using the original 3X2 setup and haven't changed my hardare INI file. Do I need to? Is there any known problem in the nightlies that I may have missed. I haven't changed any hardware in months in the Devo, but I have cracked it open looking for any loose connections and can't see any.

Any help would be appreciated.

Hello,
On Software Side the Switch is only 100 to -100 on each Position.
The 0 can only Used if you set :

Mix 1 Source Pos 0, -100 ,switch pos 0 , replace
Mix 2 Source Pos 1, 0 ,switch Pos 1, replace

This makes on Pos 0 -100 and on Pos 1 0
If you use :

Mix 3 Source Pos 2, 100 ,switch pos 2, replace

Then you get -100, 0, 100 on the 3 Pos Switch
May be you have lost some Programming on jumping to your new Version ?

Greetings Alex

Fixed.

The problem was soldering. There was a bad ground connection that decided to go bad around the time I updated the firmware. So pure coincidence. Resoldered and all is good.

Thanks for taking the time to try and help my user error.
