[Devo 7e] nrf24l01+pa+lna TX Power problem

first of all, thanks to this community for the incredible work done with this project.

I am here for a question about the nrf24l01+pa+lna, in particular for a problem I am having with the Syma X5C-1 (the version that binds by selecting SymaX protocol and setting "SymaX5C" to "Off") which is actually the only model I fly with this module: the model binds successfully but if I increase the TX power over 3mW I lose the connection and the more I increase that value the difficult is to bind back (the worst case is at 150 mW where the model randomly binds for 1 second or sometimes without even being able to bind).

Can someone explain why I get this strange behavior?

this is most likely caused by the 7e's 3.3v vreg being overloaded, if you search this forum for "7e power supply mods" you will find some suggestions on how to get past this issue
