Won't upload

Hello Everyone, wondering what I'm doing wrong? Trying to download onto my 7e. I've got to where I turn the radio back on with the ent button pushed and get the USB icon. But that's it? Nothing else happens. There is no prompt, or anything. If I just power on it's blank ?
