Devo7 Power Adjustment was created by ben1977
Hello,

I'd like to know if the "TX Power" option is active only for the native radio module, or also for the added module (such as NRL2401 and "flysky" module that can be added to extend the protocol list) ?
I've tried to increase power from 10mW to 150mW with protocols working thanks to my "flysky" module (that I extracted from a WLToys helicopter transmitter 2 years ago), and I don't feel that range has extended.

Thanks a lot

Only modules with a power amp have adjustable output, and it's unlikely that your module does. The adjustment works, but for addon modules, doesn't reflect the actual output.. i.e. 150mW setting will output more than 100mW setting, but it may be 80 vs 60 or 170 vs 130 instead.
Most toy transmitters use modules without PA, so their range is limited to close range.

I've checked and it seems that the NRF24L01 that I bought 3 years ago was a model with PA amplifier :
www.banggood.com/DEVO-Transmitter-Tuner-...2.html?rmmds=myorder
Apparently the V911 transmitter A7105 module also has a PA : www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?1...s-Devo-7e&perpage=40

So the modification of power output should work (maybe a lower value than the one chosen , but at least more than the standard 10mw value) a bit ?

I tried to boost power output to do some FPV with a microdrone around my house => I loose the signal when the drone is on the other side of the house (lot of walls between the transmitter and the drone ...), and I thought that boosting the power could make it work better but it didn't change a lot ...

Boosting power inside the house could actually make it worse. You increase the strength of the reflections of the signal off the walls, causing more interference.
