xk x6 transmitter

I am new to deviation and not sure if this is the way to get my problem solved.
I did a battery mod on the xk x6 transmitter. I unplugged the plugin for the battery chamber when I was sizing new battery.
When I went to plugin there were two spots available. One labeled batt and one labeled DCin When I plugged in to batt I got power , but continuous beeping. When I plugged in to DCin I got nothing. Why is transmitter beeping do I need to bind the transmitter again. I am new to the drone world..
