Intermittent Roll inputs

I got my 7e, did the A7105 & CC2500 + 3 way switch mod. My hubsan x4 models works great.
Recently got a brushless model + lemonrx (DSM2) + PikoBlx fc. Tried setting it up using Betaflight. However, during my flight, i noticed i would lose roll stick input commands intermittently. Sometimes i get roll.. other times not.
I went into BF and looked at the channel monitors. I noticed the i lose Roll stick command when my throttle is around 1400-1600 levels. I tested holding my right roll stick to the right and holding it there. Then i slowly moved my throttle up.. around 1400-1600 lvls, the roll input drops to 1500 ... then when the throttle goes beyond or below that levels the roll goes back up to 2000 (still holding the roll stick to the right). This happens on the left as well.
Also happens with my YAW stick.
Anyone have any idea whats going on? I have tried various stuff.... re-calibrating, setting the rxrange for all sticks to 1000 2000 in CLI, scale set to +/- 147 (other values like fixed ID, +/- 150 all left unchanged).
Please note this is my first "quad" setup so i may hv done something wrong. Posted my model.ini in Daryoon's 7e thread and was told it looked ok.
Please help... thank you and Happy New Year!!!

If there is the same behaviour, then you have a hardware problem with the Stick Pots.

Your are spot on!! I checked the Channel monitor on the TX and i noticed the same behavior. So looks like a hardware problem with the Stick Pots.
Would it an easy fix? If so, any idea where i can get info to fix it?
Thank you very much.
Colin

In the mixer menu when setting the curve type to "fixed" the source automatically becomes "none".
Try setting the source to "none" before setting the curve type to "fixed" then save and check in the channel monitor again.

1N4001's caused me some problems with interaction between switches and trim buttons, so swapped them for 1N4148's to fix it.

just to update again, I opened my TX... can't see any pinched or damaged wires anywhere. I checked the wires for my 3pos switches. One seemed loose so i soldered it again. No change. Sigh
Just to further clarify if it gives a better idea on issue, on the TX channel monitor, when i push the roll stick full left or right and hold it there, the values only drop to zero when i move rudder to the left. If i let the right stick go.. it goes back to the said values. Only left rudder.. working fine on the right rudder. Am in mode 2.
Thanks
Hi Gerry... very logical ..... will try that asap...
Thanks

I changed channel to none for safety.
OMG!! Channel monitor looks like bits working properly now thanks to you.
I'll check this weekend on betaflight to see if the issue has been sorted. Hopefully it will.
Will update again if there are any issues.
Thank you so much. Yay!!
And thank you wene and everyone else who have provided support. Much appreciated.

just posting to update in case anyone else has the same issues and need help.
Finally managed to "test" tx again following Gerry's post:
the safety switch on ch2 (Ail) is set as the rudder stick (yaw), try set the safety to none on channel 2
Everything works so far. Yay!!
I must say that for those using the 7e, a lot of understanding and experience is needed. I almost "killed" it again when putting it back together. My 3pos switch wires came loose, then a wire from my CC2500 came loose.. had to resolder everything up again. definitely not easy.
But anyway... thank you again for all the help.
