Can you say how exactly switches changing at Channel monitor? Have you AUX4 and AUX5 at Channel monitor?

Can we update the IR8M with the T8SG NB ? Someone already tested ? If not I will probably .... I don't think I can brick the radio ?

I think you can flash T8SG nightly build. First backup Tx filesystem and check if it has firmware *.dfu file, in order you can return back.
If it will work, LCD driver is the same as T8SG.
Bear in mind you will have RUD and AIL reversed.
