Well I bound a FrSky XM+ (D16) with the IR8M and I had to tune the freq-tune to 66

Hello,

I can`t bind the the XK K110. Have anybody a solution?

I bound the TX with a nano QX FPV and with a blade 130.
the lost the signal after 2m.

I was trying DSM2 and also DSMX, 100 and 150mW. It was the same result.

Hi and thank you, I watched the video which is most informative I have quality issues much the same as others. Both gimbals do not centre properly even after numerous attempts at calibration +8 and -17. The right-hand gimbal on my TX when in the home position doesn't even align with the centre markings. My less than favourable review was never published by Banggood my less than favourable comments no bad language just saying much the same as here never published. I am not allowed to post another review for this product because apparently, only people that purchased this product can submit a review. Well, I have my order details proving I purchased this product from Banggood. Only good reviews are currently being allowed on Banggood for this product. Anyway, I've been in correspondence with Banggood and have asked them to send me a replacement Gimbal Kit. I know the state of my purchased product if I can get replacement gimbals good ones from Banggood better still compatible gimbals of higher quality this would become a nice usable TX. I just love the DeviationTX platform its so easy when I'm in a rush to fly compared to open source TX on my Taranis. Regards, Stefan

PS I only really bought this TX to fly my Tiny models around the house during our Winter time here in the UK.

This appears to be the norm you have to wait about 30 seconds once you switch off this TX before you switch it back on to reboot. It doesn't fill me with the greatest of confidence and all the TX's I own bar this one power up without this problem. I have so many other TX's and perhaps you do too. I follow you on youtube and your informative videos have helped me out a lot. Regards, Stefan :)

unfortunately I have only 50-100 meter range with my iRangeX IR8M!
Is my iRangeX IR8M broken?

I bound the TX with a blade 130 from horizon hobby.
The heli lost the signal after 2m.
The blue LED is off and there ist no responce of my inputs on the TX.
You can se and hear it.

A friend has the same with a blade msr.
I tried also a nano QX FPV and it is also the same result.
Have anybody a solution?

Hi, Following on from my customer service correspondence with Banggood and the quality control issues pertaining to my received product. This is what Banggood have agreed they have given me the option to receive a new one and keep the defective TX for spares if I pay 16USD to cover postage. I have agreed to this and I'm hoping that this TX will be from a new batch where quality control issues have been resolved. Regardless I should hopefully be able to make one good TX from the two I will eventually own. I hope this makes my point if you have problems with purchased products first port of call should always be the seller. This better serves the community as sellers/manufacturers are in it for the money so if you reject the bad stuff they have to improve to stay in business. There is nothing wrong with mods and improvements to existing products but this should be more for established products not for new products that fail straight out of the box. So if you bought one of these like I did from Banggood that turned out to be faulty you might be offered a similar resolve if you discuss this matter with their customer services albeit relentlessly in a calm manner.

Regard, Stefan

I'm rather hoping that someone will explain this better or correct me if I'm wrong in answer to this question. Firstly as regards TX control of your aircraft, it seems likely that the control frequency from the TX is off centre to the frequency of your aircraft. This would be similar in example to when you do a search on your FPV goggles and it comes close but doesn't hit the exact frequency so everything seems OK close in until you fly a few metres and lose the signal. I vaguely remember a fine tune within the model setup and protocols that might address this issue you can also set the power output from your TX to a maximum of 150mw.

There is no way to finetune
You can do that by using some protocols but not by using DSM2 or DSMX.

Even on a range moded 7e these protocols are good for over 300m. So what´s going on with this transmitter?
Anyone encountered the same on the Jumper?

Devo7e, TaranisQ X7, R9M , 4in1 MM, Futaba FC18plusV3.2 & DFT/FLD-02

Hi nille,

I agree absolutely and certain protocols don't support telemetry.

Question for those with such TX range issues are you running the latest build for this TX?

Hi vlad_vy,

OMG just looked at the photo you uploaded now that is really scary the soldering looks bridged on these components.

Perhaps you've nailed it the problems that some users are having with their TX's

I will check my TX to see what I can see.

Those bridges are intended, as those are all power supply Pins.

Was thinking the same, but one pic has 6-7-8 shorted and the other only 6-7. And the blobs on the second edge are in different places. I'd think a solder blob would only be used if the connections were forgotten on the circuit board. So the blobs either shouldn't be there, or the mods are wrong in one of those two pics.

Low power can be related to PA chip (2401) or next chip - RF switch. If you can test power with all RF chips, it can be more clear. If any RF chip has full power = no RF switch commutation.

With such low range (2 meters) I think it related to RF switch.
