Trim problem with Devo 7E

On my Devo 7E sometimes when I press the TRIMRH button + it also acts on the TRIMLV + . I have the version 5.0, could you tell me if it is a software problem or if it is the micro switch button trim who is used?

Have you added extra switches to your 7e? If so which diodes did you use?

Yes I added 2 extra switches. The diodes are 1N4002. But I do not think that it comes from that because I use it for 2 years and so far I had no problem. I'm waiting for your opinion.

1N4001 Diodes caused similar problems as yours for my 7e (it is documented somewhere about them) and others had the problem as well.
It is recommended to use 1N4148 diodes which solved the problem.

Do your trims play up when moving switch positions, or is there interaction of your trims when switches are in different positions?

No, my trimmers don't play when I move the switch positions.
I tried again, when I play the 2 horizontal trims, sometimes it plays the vertical ones. Today I bought 1N4148 diodes and I hope to install them tomorrow.

I just replaced the diodes and everything seems to work fine. I've handled the trimmers a few times and it looks OK. I don't think I would have to replace the micro switches and I'm very happy about that.

BTW Is it difficult to put the voice on a Devo 12S?
