Help!! Issues Can't arm motors with Jumper T8SG

Long story short, I'm trying to get my Blade TORRENT 110 off the ground using my Jumper t8sg. I'm kind of new to using Betaflight, so I need a little advice. I have been using my Jumper t8sg to bind with all my toy grade quads with success. (I bound it to my Blade Zeyrok which uses the the DSMX protocol too with no issues) Problem is, when I set up the model on the Jumper and went to Betaflight, the switch I assigned to arm the quad does nothing. In fact, when I see the modes bar for arm in betaflight, I can see the switch working but the box does not turn yellow. Then when I shut the Jumper T8sg down, the box turns yellow and the copter arms for a couple of seconds (the motors power up)!!! What am I doing wrong? I'm kind of bored with the toy grade stuff and would like to move up to hobby grade. Would be nice to get my first hobby grade quad off the ground.

did you set the ranges 1000-2000?
On some protocols I had to up the dualrates….

So you say you bound the radio and the drone and you can see the switch recognized.
Use the CLI and type "status"
It will tell you what are the arming problems (dont take care of CLI and MSP).
Then go check on this page the action needed.

It can be a range problem. If the min and max values in the receiver exceed 1000 and 2000, it won't arm.
You can go in the mixer menu of your Jumper, for each channel set up the scale+ and scale-.
