T8SG PRO v2 - exitus mortem

Just upgraded a Jumper T8SG-V2_PLUS, took the nightly build "deviation-t8sg_v2_plus-v5.0.0-97eaaf8".
I remember that a dark screen after the upgrading procedure is normal due to lack of filesystem.
The problem is that now I have no USB connection for installing the filesystem - on a Devo7e no problem at all (crosschecked).
The installation of a "DFU USBDrv Installer-1.1" (no idea what it's good for since I could upgrade the referring dfu-file without it) didn't help.
Hoping for some help, otherwise the whole radio will remain a piece of crap . . .
Thanks in advance
Gerhard

I'll try to list what I'd done and what happened:
1. Went into USB and backed up the filesystem
2. Opened DfuSe and loaded up a dfu-file, but it had been a wrong one (Devo7e)
3.No idea what happened between . . .
4. Tried to load up the proper dfu file (for Jumper) via DeviationUpload-0.9.0.jar
5. No idea what this program did, whether it finished or not . . .
6. Switching on the Jumper Radio it only shows me the USB logo
7. Didn't find any entry (Drive) in Windows Explorer - only nagging I have to format the drive
8. Therefore I did a format run, Windows (7) told me it couldn't finish formatting
9. Windows explorer showed a new drive, moaning that there's no proper filesystem

Recommend trying a full install again, starting with the dfu install. It shouldn't be powering up directly into USB model.

Yes, of course, unfortunately the dfu loader (DFuse-USB-Upgrade Tool 3.05) doesn't recognize anything . . .

Hi !

Thx a lot for advice, unluckily it had no chance due to lack of running USB connection. Therefore I didn't know any way to get something from the computer into the radio.

Then I spotted under "DFU USB Tool / Deviation Uploader-0.9.0" a file "DeviationUpload-0.9.0.jar" which seems to be a Java application.
I started the app with the radio plugged in via USB and first of all I did notice that something was going on with the app, lokks like there had happened a connection.
The app offers a complete installation from the .zip file as source.

Therefore I took the advised memory-eraser file "t8sg_v2_plus.zip".
Installation took a while and ended reporting "Copy finished".
Thereafter, following your advice, I did the same with the last firmware file for the radio, which also seemed to had been copied properly.

I'm sorry to say that again there's no success, all I get on the radio-screen is the USB logo.
Connecting the radio with the computer results in showing a new drive, but the computer claims that the drive should be formatted.

So far so bad . . .

BUT . . .
I've got to say that at the moment it does'nt matter at all whether the radio runs or not.
I had purchased this radio hoping it is able do deal with the helicopter E-sky150X. But I didn't know that the referring radio is a dedicated DeviationTX radio. No problem so far. The radio's programmer's manual, which actually is the DeviationTX Programmers Manual comes with a list of every supported protocol (due to 4in1 chip).
Under Esky150 some can find E-sky150X as supported heli !!!
But that's not true, in my opinion.

I also own a Devo7e with a 4in1 chip, with an Esky150 protocol also. No chance with an Esky150X heli . . .
It doesnt bind.
Note : I intend to open a new thread covering this issue. I mention it only for the sake of completeness.

Back to initial issue . . .
Is there any hope (forgetting the goal mentioned above) ?

Edit :
Since I'd been unsure I de-installed all dfu-driver and re-installed them (DriverInstaller 1.1).
Unluckily the Computer (Win7) told me that the driver hadn't been installed !!!
