Devo7e: Use trim as switch was created by PhilipK
Hi to all

My first topic in this forum is a question.
Until now i could solve everything in ran into, but now i'm kind of stuck....

I'm building micro models in 1/87 scale (trucks, cars,..) with deltang receivers (dsm2/dsmx)
I use the DEVO7e with deviation 5.0.0 (no nigthly) and have modded it with to 3pos switches.

So far everything works fine.

In the manual i found under 11.3 the option to use the trim as switch.
It says that there are 4 options available:

Momentary: The switch will be active only as long as the trim button is held
Toggle: The switch will toggle from on-to-off or off-to-on each time the trim button is pressed
On/Off: The Trim+ button will turn the switch on, and the ‘Trim-‘ button will turn it off-to-on
3 Pos: The switch will be active in one direction as long as the Trim+ button is held, and in the other direction as long as the Trim- button is held, returning to center when released.

But when i try, i only get option 1-3 (momentary, toggle, on/off). No 3 Pos.

I dont need the trim for cars, so i would like to use it for my light module.

It's a tiny wich you normaly switch with "stick code".
Meaning:
stick one time left -> left indicator on; stick next time left -> left indicator off;
stick two times left -> flash on;
three times left -> light on;
...

If i get it right, 3pos would be the option that i need....

Why i dont have this otion? Is it not available on the 7e? Do i need to install a nightly on the TX?

Greets

Philip
