12s possible bug? was created by Birdman
Not new to deviation but have just set up a new 12s and getting familiar with it, but seem to have a very odd issue.

I have bind a Walkera 1202 rx (no ID) and when I scroll through menu and get to button monitor or range test the bind screen appears. If throttle is up the safety screen appears and when lowered the bind screen then appears. It is like the tx thinks it has been turned off.

So, I made a another new model and set it up for a DMS2 rx with ID and get a similar thing happen. When I scroll menu and get to button monitor or range test page instead of the bind window appearing I see the DSM2 rx looses signal and the led starts flashing indicated this has in fact happened.

??????????

Need help please..

Bind 1202 with ID and it now does the same as DMS2 rx that is set up as a different model. Bind window no longer appears but when scrolling rx led goes out and starts blinking indicating loss of signal.

Tripple checked all settings, done some searching, nothing more I can do.

Anyone????????

I think it related to "Scanner" page. You can see it if you go to "Range test" page from "Scanner" page, and if you go to "Button monitor" page from "Scanner" page. At both cases if you leave "Scanner" page, it lead to protocol init. I think it's only case for this "bug".

Thanks, it is fixed.

I only flashed the firmware, not lib or any other files, is this ok?

Have tx binding again after being turned off.

But still can't get the 2 tx to bind to same rx like I was able to.

If you use walkera receiver you need first bind without Fixed ID, then set Fixed ID, after that receiver will be always bound.

My problem could be totaly unrelated to firmware change.

But I did have ladybird, mini cp and genius cp v2 bound and working on 8s and 12s, now i can not get any rx to bind to both tx.

to elaborate:

Before I would bind first tx with no fixed id, window said none, and rx would bind, then i tap "none" and there is a 6 digit number already in next page, I would record this number and tap "done".

Then on second rx i would do the same, tap "none" and change the fixed id to same number as first tx. This worked.

Now when I change number in second tx it does not bind.

I don't "think" i am doing anything different
