F12e 5.8 ghz improvements possible? was created by Toolbox1211
Im wondering if the 5.8 ghz fpv module in the f12e can be replaced similar to the 4 in 1 module.
My plan is to purchase the fatshark base sd goggles (no reciever) and use the cvbs on the f12e.
There are plenty of fancy fpv recievers for various goggles and to install one in the controller if possible would save hundreds on goggles
This may also be entirely unnecessary or impossible if so please let me know thanks.
After some diggging it appears the pinout is very similar between fpv recievers according to thies pictures first is the f12e
So power, ground,video,ch1,ch2,ch3 are the same as others 6.5m from what i understand is mono audio. As for ch4 and ch5 i can only assume are for channed switching but i cant find any aftermarked recievers with a ch4 and ch5
Any help would be greatly appreciated

Well i started digging myself
So it seams from what i can figure i can swap out the fpv reciever with another. Ch 1 2 3 and 4 are for switching channels They each have resistors labeled 101 inline. Not sure if this is a walkara thing or just how fpv recievers work. Anybody who can shed some light on this please let me know
Ch5, 6.0a ended up being the right aidio channel. This seems to go nowhere. The audio out jack is mono so this makes sense.
The power being 4.17v rock solid seems an odd voltage for a fpv transmitters but i dont know much about this
I will keep digging and also purchace a cheep fpv reviever module and do some testing. If anyone has so.e infor.ation they think would be helpfull it would be apriciated. Thanks
