DEVO RX1002 dangerous??[solved] was created by freewee4
Hello
I'm going to try a little question on a not too active forum!
I use old equipment of course, Devo 10 flashed Deviation, with several devices without any particular problem, in wk 2801 protocol with 2801 receivers and Futaba s-fhss with a XK K110S.
But I just put a DEVO RX1002 receiver on my TRex and I realize a very unpleasant and almost dangerous behavior: Everything seems to work correctly but if I have the misfortune to cut the TX before disconnecting the lipo from the helicopter, the engine starts to start and accelerate, if I turn the TX back on the engine stops phew! Even if I cut the engine with the TX safety at the end of the flight, same behavior, by cutting the TX the engine restarts and accelerates.
So when the RX1002 is powered and without signal, the engine starts...
Do you have an explanation??? I put back an RX 2801 Pro, with the same settings and I don't have this behavior. With none of my devices by the way, you can cut the TX without the engine starting!
Thanks if you could clarify, have you had this problem with DEVO receivers???

Have you checked the fail safe settings?

Thank you, I will look at that (I have to make an effort because I don't speak much English), but I'm surprised that the RX could remain a configuration!

I don't know if the settings from the stock Walkera DevoTX are the same as Deviation TX, but in Deviation, the security value for throttle is set to "0" by default, it was not absurd for me, but I realize now that it must be "-100" in order not to have the behavior I had!!!!
Thank you very much again for having a look at my question, and for giving me good advises!!!
