So the one limiting factor of the DEVO 10 is the screen, I'm wondering if it is possible to replace the screen with a higher resolution and possibly color screen? i know that changed would need to be made to the firmware but that deviation could handle it, just not sure if its even possible.

It is theoretically possible. I found a 320x240 color screen that would fit the Devo10 opening once (though I have no idea where I found it)
Actually connecting it may be difficult. You'd need to find one with a similar 8 bit FSMC compliant interface. You'd then need to write a new Display driver, and reconfigure the display touse the devo8/12 interface.
It is a significant amount of work.

I was good up until "write a new display driver" thats not my cup of tea. it was just a passing thought, the screen is VERY functional as is so i think ill keep it.
