Just a random thought (that those with more experience have probably already dismissed), but could we load the UI - either advanced or standard - on the 7E dynamically, the way we load protocols?
If the main page is the same for both (I never use the standard GUI), it could happen when we left the main page. Otherwise, it might need to be done in the Model setup when the UI changes, which could be interesting.
