So after browsing this thread for an hour or so, I am still not sure... The board of victzh has yet to be launched, right? (Devo 7e btw)

Hi
do you think i can use this banggood Module in my Devo12s with the standard 1S Lipo ????
4in1 for Devo
i'm not sure about the dropoff voltage on the regulator used at this daughterboard....
Has anyone this in use in a Devo 12s with the Original 1S Lipo battery
The module works fine in my Devo 6s. For my CX10 (red board) i had to turn off auto ack in the YD717 protocol options to get rid of the lags..
Cheers Werner
BTW: a guy committed at banggood that he opened the module up and found a NRF24L01+ chip

@wahnfried, yes, I'm debugging F4 now, Devo 7E, Devo 10, Devo 12 already work. I made some progress with it, at least I found one place where it hangs, there is another one

good work victzh
Do you have fluctuating TX-Voltage readings and noisy Analog Channel displayed while using your 4in1 solution in the 12S.
like mentioned here
www.deviationtx.com/forum/3-feedback-que...voltage?limitstart=0
Worst VCC ripple is with the FrskyX and FrskyD Protocols in use.
cheers

I did not measure the ripple, but I don't use the 3.3v from Devo - it's too weak and the original RF module and Banggood module for Devo also don't use it. We're all using 5v and separate LDO to produce 3v needed for actual RF chips.

I tested yesterday my banggood Module on my Power supply. With 3,5v Input voltage i got 2,7v on the Output pin of the voltageregulator. Do you think this is Safe?
The datasheets for all the transceicer chips are saying Operation voltage from 1.8 or 1.9 to 3.6v
I will give it a try next Weekend in my devo12 with 1S Lipo

I think Devo 12s has a boost converter to 5v - Lipo range is 4.2 down to 3.6 volts, so it make sense to have a stable voltage over the system. One local converter provides 3.3v for MCU, another one on the module - to the RF chip(s). It's robust architecture to reduce noise over the system.
I'll take a look inside my Devo 12s to make sure they have this 5v line.

Aah...that would make sense....
Edit:
Opened up my Devo 12S
The onboard switchmode voltage regulator is providing 4,25V for the TX-module, no matter if i feed it with 2,8V or 4V from my laboratory power supply.

Hi,
just an information regarding the "ripple" in the input monitor of the Devo 12S as well as the voltage reading:
I exchanged a former installed CC2500 module ("blue" one from aliexpress) to the banggood 4in1 multimodule.
With the CC2500 I had this "ripple", with the 4in1 multimodule it is gone. No matter if in Frsky protocol the telemetry is enabled (and working) or not, no matter which Frsky sub-protocol I use (X, D8, ...).
I don't know if the change is related to the module or my cable routing or something else, but the ripple-situation has improved, at least for me, with the 4in1 multimodule.
And by the way I have not altered the power supply of the module, it was merely a "drop-in replacement" of the original walkera module.
Best regards
Max

Same here
Last night I changed from A7105 and cc2500 powered from the debug ports 3.3V (LF-Filter Elkos and Diode installed to get rid of ripple)
to Banggood 4in1 with onboard LDO powered from the 4,25V line @ module bay (standard drop in replacement)
All looks fine now

Received the 4-in-1 module for my Devo10 today. Will do the soldering tomorrow hopefully. Looking forward to the results. *fingers crossed*

@Wene001, I finally checked voltage on my Devo 12S - battery 3.9v, RF module source - 4.25v. It makes sense not to overload LDO with extra voltage, so 4.25, which is 0.95v higher than 3.3v for RF chips seems reasonable choice. And judging by the PCB components it has boost converter (how else?!) as I guessed.

The 4-in-1 is trivial. One of the simpler RC soldering jobs I have done.
Nicely spaced solder islands.
Did mine a few days ago. Worked right away with my E010. Have yet to test other receivers. But I do have DSMX, and plenty of FlySky to test on

Are there any serious results for range and reliability of the 4in1 module, especially for the main chips (CC2500/A7105/CYRF) ?
I have to make the decision to continue with an additional Devo10/white and this module or to keep my 7e for Deviation only and go for a Taranis 9XD as the main transmitter.
Devo7e, TaranisQ X7, R9M , 4in1 MM, Futaba FC18plusV3.2 & DFT/FLD-02

You don't say which Module you have, 3in1 or 4in1.
For the 3in1, see the second post in this thread for photos.
For the 4in1, see post #55157 & scroll to the Devo10 pictures.
Too many hobbies & too many Devos!
Who knows where the time goes?

I agree. The soldering was quite easy to do, and I hadn't used my soldering iron for ages.
Tested if it'd bind with my V911-pro, and that worked like a charm. Have yet to check my SuperCP and QX95, but I expect no issues there either.

In my Devo10 with 4-in-1 RF Module I've had a problem with nrf 24L01 Module to be recognized.Looks like I got my 24L01 Module recognized by changing line enable-nrf24l01 = A14 in "hardware.ini" to enable-nrf24l01 = B7. My 4-in-1 Module for Devo 10 from AliExpress

But that is exactly what is written in the .ini after the Devo 10 installation photo in this
www.deviationtx.com/forum/7-development/...dule?start=940#55157
Also listed just over the image.
So if this is the instruction you followed, it will be B7, as that is where the pin is soldered.
You can also see it here:
