You just have to be responsible and not program the TX to exceed your local regulations and you are then fine.
Cheers

Got a couple questions on the installation, does it matter which module hooks to what? Like should the NRF hook to the TMS or TCK ect..
I am installing into my 12s so i plan on using the B3 pad for one of the hook ups...
Also is the TMS =A13 and TCK=A14 ? or is it other way ? i can't remember...
Thanks all..

I used Notepad++ to edit a fresh hardware.ini file and everything works as it should. This is mentioned here in this thread a ways back, but I searched quite a while to find it. Hopefully If I repeat it here, I can save someone a little time and frustration.
Good luck everyone!

What I am more interested to know:
Is the output for all 4 chips correct anybody measured output levels?
Is the telemetry for all 4 chips, correct so preamp operational for all 4 chips and have telemetry received at 1.5km for all the 4 chips?
I the LNA PA switched correctly switched and only one module active at a time ?
Is the power consumption of a 4 in1 module correct so comaparable to 4 separate modules?
Anybody who can confirm those questions?

I was planning on installing it. I noticed a new 4 in 1 though on banggood. This one:
www.banggood.com/CC2500-NRF24L01-A7105-C...7.html?rmmds=myorder
After reading through, i saw that the older 4 in 1 has poor range compared to the 3 in 1. Has that changed with the new modules?
Also, is there a newer guide i should be following for the new 3 in 1 and 4 in 1?

I added a 4in1 module to my 7e.
After some mistakes the cyrf... module works.
I can bind to my super cp.
But at startup i get a "missing module" meesage.
None of the other modules work.
I've triple checked the wiring and weldings...
I use a nighly build from 31.01.17...
I need some hints please:blink:
(Ignore the yellow and white cables on the right...please don't ask:blush: )

And can you confirm that those changes exist in the file that resides on the Devo?
I ask these questions because what you describe points to these issues rather than hardware
<Edit> Oh, one more thing...
Check all of the protocols on the radio to verify that there are * (asterisks) at the beginning of the protocol names. If there are no asterisks, try cycling the power on the radio and watch for missing module messages again.

All other protocols that don't depend on the Cyrf... have an asterisk in front.
When i change the settings, exchanging A13 and A14, then the error shows the other module...
Perhaps trying another nightly???

I am using this 3 in 1 module from Bangood for more than 6 month now in my devo 8S.
www.banggood.com/CC2500-NRF24L01-A7105-M...04.html?rmmds=search
could I flash an update version in my module ?
using the code from here
github.com/pascallanger/DIY-Multiprotocol-TX-Module
For the configuration on a devo 8S
- is it PPM or Serial ?
- if I want to use the telemetry (frsky protocol) what are the options to set in the _config.h for the Devo ?
Thanks
