My name is Lothar am 65 years old and since 45 years model builders and pilots.
Now to my question:
I've installed the 4 in 1 module by Banggood in my Devo12.
All the very latest firmware.
I could bind the following recipients so far: FrSky X 8, D8RII, Orange RX 6, 8 and 12 channel, Devo R602.
Today I wanted to bind a FrSky V8FR, no chance.
The X 8 and the D8RII I need in the frequency fine tuning on minus 40.
In the V8 I have no possibility to fine-tune, why log???
Sorry for mi bad English, that is the translator

At this point you have the frequence fine tune available.

the old V8FR can not bind.
also do not bind the V8FRII in the V mod
the V8FRII in D MOD can commit
Why is there no fine tuning in the V mod

Why is there no fine tuning in the V mod
1. At the time, when this was developed, none had problems with unprecise oscillators the Chinese use nowadays.
2. This protocol is rarely in use and the second edition of these V receivers can use D8.
Maybe this option will be put even into this protocol, wait for a developer answer.

The original VF8R does not support D-mode, and has to bind in V-mode. That is the FrSky-V8 protocol in deviation. Power the Rx up while holding down the F/S button to get bind mode.
Now hit the Bind/Reinit (could have either label) button in the model setup entry with the correct protocol. Since this is a CC2500 protocol, you may need to adjust the fine tuning under protocol options to get it to bind. See the wiki entry for instructions on how to do that.

Everything you say is correct.!
I can link X with fin minus 40
I can bind D with fin minus 40
In the V log there in the transmitter menu of no possibility for fin do
I can not bind the V8FR from the old generation without frequency shift
Why no Fintuning in the V log

If you really need it, try the "5.0 with new protocols" build. The latest sources have fine tuning in the FrSky V protocol, so that build may include it.

Thank you for your answer and that you assume you my problem.
Yes, I have the 5.0 on it. Last night I made the new nightly build version 2017 03 27 played on. No fine tuning in FrSky V.
I think there is currently no way the receiver to multi module to bind.
My best thanks that you tried to help me.

#if 0
static const char * const frsky_opts[] = {
_tr_noop("Freq-Fine"), "-127", "127", NULL,
_tr_noop("Freq-Course"), "-127", "127", NULL,
NULL
};
#endif
So, I think it has not fine tuning.

Do you mind sharing the link to the Taobao manufacturer that sells the latest modules with fixed issues? Do you know if the current 4in1 modules have the issues fixed similarly to the 3in1 module you purchased? Also, is this module from Banggood you linked to earlier: www.banggood.com/CC2500-NRF24L01-A7105-C...itter-p-1096707.html exactly the same as the one sold on Taobao or do you think it's better to buy directly from the manufacturer to make sure to get the latest version?HappyHarry wrote: there is only 1 manufacturer for these modules so for anyone purchasing now there is only 1 version of each available. also having recently installed a new 3in1 (purchsed mid january driect from the manufacturer on taobao.com)
Many thanks.

That's fantastic news. Many thanks for the update. And of course thank you for making the new module in the first place.victzh wrote: @czajunia, I sent design files for my module to the guy, who produces these 4-in-1 modules. The code support is there, in nightly builds. The guy is still processing the files, and should send me a test version, but it did not happen yet.
From your past experience do you know roughly how long it takes him to produce a board and start selling it once the test version is approved by you? I'm in no rush as my 3 separate modules work just fine but every now and then a Frsky protocol would come in handy. Cheers.

Last time he implemented our small modifications on the 4-in-1 module pretty fast, but that was minor. And Devo adapter currently on Banggood is his own development. So actually it's hard to tell

It seems they indeed read learn and copy from all conversations on the web, but not really inform, share or ask for any feedback help for their new products.
A close relation with customers could make a win win, better sales success and for us better products we like.
So please post some progress and updates on the modules...!
Oh btw one more wish;
If for the new modules the, each of the RF chips Xtal loading capacitors could selected with care to be spot on, so freq offset should be close to zero, would also be an good improvement for all of us.
