Only 1 of 2 3 position switches works devo7e

did the switch mod 2 3 position switch on devo 7e. the b switch works in all 3 positions but the a only shows moment in top position in channel monitor. ive attached pics of the switches the pic with the brown orange red wire wire is the switch that doesn't work properly the pic with yellow wire on top is the switch that works in a 3 positions..first time ever soldering so i know its not perfect but why would 1 work and not the other? i appreciate any help
