bluetooth gamecontroller via nrf24 was created by Wene001
hi, all pros out there
do you think its possible to use the nrf24l01 for communicating as a standard bluetooth gamecontroller.
would be nice to get rid of the cable.
would be perfekt for use on simulators on the phone or the tablet...
found this.....

Do not ask me questions via PM. Ask in the forums, where I'll answer if I can.
My remotely piloted vehicle ("drone") is a yacht.

I think people have discussed it before, but it's never happened. IIUC, what you need is a variant of the USBHID protocol that uses the NRF24L01 as a BT controller instead of USB. If that's correct, it shouldn't be to hard to do, but it's not something I'm interested in doing.
This is the kind of thing I set up my (now defunct) patreon page to fund.

Thanks for your comment mwm!
So you think this is doable. Great
Unfortunately this is way beyond my skills.
I dont understand the sentence with the patreon page, can you clarify this for me?
I think this would be a great USBHID Protocol Option
No more hassle with USB Dongles and PPM Receiver, and usable on Devices without USB Port.
USBHID via Cable works fine, but the USB Port is on the right side on my Devo 6,8,12, so its horrible to hold the TX with the cable plugged in.
So my best option ist to bring this idea up in the community, hoping others are interested too.
a few friends are hoping for this feature too, so it should be a great option for most of us....
Anyone interested in trying to program this feature?
