Remove STANDARD GUI from Devo 7e build ? was created by goebish

Hi,

We're encountering flash space issues again with the 7e build, eg:
github.com/DeviationTX/deviation/pull/455
github.com/DeviationTX/deviation/pull/443

vladislavy suggested we should disable STANDARD GUI in the modular build, everyone agrees with that ?

If we disable STANDARD GUI, we can enable for devo7e: 1) permanent timer, 2) datalog, 3) layout editor

I don't think this is related but although "build passing" is showing there haven't been new nightly builds in the download section for a few days:

Myself and two friends have 7e all have 2x3 switch mods and extra rf modules. Mine has voice Fw so no Standard Gui already. My friends both run nightlies, but almost all their models are programmed by me and whenever I am teaching them mixers it is always done in advanced gui. I think I can speak for them and myself and say standard gui is obsolete.
I vote for remove standard gui.

I never used standard GUI, but is it not possible to create 2 builds ?
one 'Standard' and one 'Advanced' build.

Can we have all this AND voice?
As more and more protocols are added in the future will these proposed features disappear? If so, why put them in now to take them away later?

The voice feature use much more memory than Standard GUI, so it's impossible. Except it we will have 3K spare memory, it can accept BUNCH of new protocols.

Yes that's probably the culprit, I didn't realize that this PR changed install_nightlies.tar.enc, I often have to fight with this file when doing local merge as well, I tend to manually delete it before I check out a new branch to avoid issues ...

I have never used Standard GUI. I always disable Standard GUI, and add extended telemetry for AFHDS 2A, and layout editor in my builds.
I don't know what's the permanent timer and datalog, I'll check it.
Another good idea would be to remap AFHDS 2A voltage telemetry to something on non extended telemetry.
