Hi, I discovered that the problem with the voice in the T8SG v2 plus carbon is actually in the hardware itself. The PCB lacks two pulls up resistors so the people designing the remote did a small fuck up.

The problem is as kanamonoka user shows:

Here is how to fix it and how it works after the fix:

The fix looks like this:

Additionally, I soldered and straightened the antenna connector (because it always comes off):

Lubricated the gimbals (they made a faint squeaky sound) with www.tamiya.com/english/products/87099grease_hg/index.htm (perfect for plastic to plastic)

Printed a plan cover for the back:

Great! It would be nice to find a way also to add another USB mode that connects the D+ and D- of the MP3 chip directly to the main usb :D maybe for pcb V4 :P

@eried you had mentioned about fixing the voice queuing issue. Is this fix in the build yet?

No, there is a small discussion about my implementation. You can join the discussion here:

Thanks. I don't have anything valuable to add there. Just a thought I had was that we can look at how other voice supported TX behave and may be get some ideas from there.

Well, basically I like voices being skipped, i.e. in the middle of a sound if you trigger another sound and TheRealMoeder does not. So I need to refactor it in a way that is flexible for both

Hi eried. I'm fixing the hardware issue with your solution, thank you for your knowledge. Have you got a specific range for the two resistance we have to solder please?

Any will do but between 1k and 40k might be the best. The recommendation from the manufacturer is the one I used
