Please test if you can, binds on fixed channel pair, so the implementation is not complete. Do not do interference test, results can not be interpreted.

I have made the upgrade, but I cannot bind it. There is a star "*" next to the Esky protocol, I cannot click bind or do anything...
Am I doing sg. wrong? Do I need to write anything into the tx.ini?

You need to have nRF24L01 module physically added to your Devo (look for Devo mod instructions in www.deviationtx.com/repository/Documenta...uleInstallation.pdf/ ) and you need to modify your tx.ini to instruct the Devo that you have this module installed. It is described in this document as well.

I have enabled the module and -seems- to work fine...
BUT
Yesterday the RX was working fine, I could start binding and so on...
Today - I only get the "slow blink of death". I have looked around in forums and nobody got a solution on this... The rx just keeps blinking slowly, no matter what.
Sorry, I need to give up, the rx quit on me

Bill...
the v911 module is a different critter to the nRF24L01, which as victzh said, you need installed to communicate with the ESky receivers.
You can get the nRF24L01 module from ebay (for example) but make sure you get one with a power amp in it.

to be fair, it makes no sense for me anymore... my only Esky rx just died on me today right when I wanted to test this protocol.
If I would invest money in receivers/tx modules now, I'd buy a DSMX sat instead for my new 3GX
I wanted to get the Esky rx back to life to revive my first 6ch copter, a fully upgraded HBK2, sitting on a shelf since the Esky tx died...
I think I'll buy a 6ch Devo or a Spektrum (6115 or similar) to revive it, will not bother with Esky electronics any more
Sorry guys, I really wanted to help, but Esky quality just veto'd it

I still have it in my archives, and will try to bring it to life, if you're interested.
What's ESky 150 tmr, by the way?

Hi it's a new Flybar less micro Heli.... I just received it this morning . Very nice and based on the BK2423 so NRF24L01 compatible. This new micro is very good ...
Yes I am definitively interested and some other users in RCgroup.

I think so ... it's my first ESKY model ... so can't tell u. But I think the job you already did shound be tested. In the worst case, I can capture SPI log of the TX for u. I got a devo 7E and devo 10 (w/ MM)

This is my current project, a JetRanger, using the carcass of my first heli, a King2... sort of.
Based on the resurrected King, it has Align ESC, Esky brushless motor, Esky-Walkera-Align tail, original Esky digital cyclic servos, Walkera digital tail servo, Esky metal head with Align bearings, converted to FBL (!)... and the Esky TX-RX are binned since long ago
It has now a cheap K-Bar gold version with 2xSpektrum sats with DSM2.
Btw, the $30 controller can hover the thing with hands off the tx. Far better than my 3GX... (no 3D, only hover and basic circles, but anyway.)
