I've tried with my Devo10 and it works. So it is a problem only related to 7e.
Or shall I add a line "Telemetry = off" in the model.ini to force it to off?
In Devo protocol, I experience bitter occasions in 7e to cut off output power at times when telemetry is ON. Don't ask me how many failures before I found it out to be related to the telemetry=ON setting.
