Turinigy 9XR 11.1v lipo battery in a devo-10 was created by Hondawasaki
If this is the wrong place to put this please move it .
I recently purchaced a Turinigy 9XR 11.1v 1.5c 2200mah tx battery and am using it in my Devo -10 ... It is a very tight fit into the battery bay but works great. I have not attempted to use the onboard charger yet ( I do not have a proper powersupply ) 12v 50ma .... so im charging it with a lipo charger outside of the tx ...
the tight fit makes it where i need to pry the battery out gently using a butter knife .

Do not use the onboard charger, it is not meant to be used with lipos, only nimh.
Other than that maybe wire a diode in series to drop the voltage 1V in order to not put stress on the power supply side of the TX. 1N4001 works great;

K i will not use the stock charger
.
... and i plan to do a bit of dremel work to make the battery fit better. If I remove the peices that stick out to lock the original battery pack .. the lipo will slide right in ...
.
it barley goes over 12v charged and fresh akaline batts are a full 12v so i figure it will be fine voltage wise ... I do need to change my LV alarm to protect the lipo. ( the lipo is supposed to have built in over/under current protection ... but it is turnigy so... )
