Hi All, I was thinking of buying a Devo F12 FVP TX. But I like my Spektrum DX8 so much.
I have 7 Helli's and 6 multi copters. It would be nice to have them all on one TX with 5.8GHz video receive.

At the moment all my helli's and multicopters are on DSM2 and DSMX with a 5 inch TFT screen sitting on top of my DX8 with a 3S lipo stuck to the back of it.

Most of them use 7Ch but my Octo copters use 8Ch so a F7E is out of the question.
So would the 12S firmware go on to the F12 FVP?

I see that Walkera are bringing out a F12E with the screen on top.
Looks like a very nice TX.

I thinks that, there are not any guy working on this TX. Microuav, is working on devo F7 but there are not news about this work. I have my deco F7 with problems in the memory, when I resolve it, I will work on the detention on deco F7. But the first step for start a new port of deviation is to know what is into the TX.

what would really help would be high-resolution pictures of the internals if you feel comfortable enough to open it up.

Ok, so:
Processor: STM32F103ZFT6 (768k FLASH, 96k RAM)
Display driver: [url=http://www.intersil.com/en/products/end-market-specific/automotive-ics/display-processors/TW8823.html[/url]
Parallel Flash: S29GL128P10TFI010 (128Mbit)
Display RAM: K4H561638N 256kbit DDR
Serial Flash: SST???

I can't read the part number of what appears to be the serial flash chip next to the STM32 part (it is an 8-pin SOIC)

Nor can I tell what the 8-pin SOIC above the SAMSUNG chip on the display board is.

If you can tell me these 2 part numbers it would help.

At 1st glance, this looks quite hackable. Plenty of RAM and Flash. Hopefully the serial-flash is large enough for a file-system.

Great thing - any chance to take pictures of the other sides of the PCBs of your F12E ?

There must be some kind of display driver hidden, and also knowing the part number of the display (usually printed on the backside) would be great.
