Any other bugs noticed with voice? I was wondering if a "voice-value" mux which will read out channel values would be useful, similar to what happens on aux knobs. Any other wishes?

I really like the idea of using a webpage to generate the voice alerts that way users can customize there transmitter alerts however they like...

Not yet checked the last version but you know my wishes :
A count down timer in the same way as stopwatch (by minutes for 5 minutes and longer after).
The possibility to have the name of the model loaded on the switching on of the TX (by a custom voice).
Why not a possiblily of a complete read of all switches having a voice and their position. A sort of chek list (I dont see how as all buttons have a function

About the model name: You would need custom mp3 files for all your model name, otherwise automatically you could only have for example "model eleven", which wouldn't help too much, I guess...

What voice generator do you use for your current voice sets?Moeder wrote: Actually I'm currently thinking if there is a way to automatically build custom sets by anyone. Like a webpage with a text entry field which returns a voice.zip with ini and mp3 folder. I noticed the Travis builder allows a mac OS VM, so we might have access to the excellent tts apple provides. The downside is, that the building process will probably take a few minutes...I'm open for suggestions as always.
Is that a Linux one or a Mac?

.
Knowing that all voices are less than 2 seconds it would take probably less than 15 seconds for the 8 switches of a devo 12 if all switches are "voiced" which is probably not the case.

Agreed I am ready to create the 20 custom voices for my 20 models in my devo which will take 5 minutes
As already mentionned I use 2 free programs on Windows :Natural reader free and Audacity to create my mp3. Natural Reader reads from what you want (a web page or a written text ) and Audacity records it while reading by Nat Reader. Splitting a long list takes seconds.

I too but I was speaking of these 2 buttons shown by the arrows on the file attached. If you use those tell me how you do.

I'm assembling an internal player for my Devo 12e and now have a micro speaker with really big sound. Some time ago I picked up a 15mm x 11mm micro speaker (Knowles 2403-260-00001 available at Digikey) but it isn't very loud without a sound enclosure. Since I have a bit of room in the 12e, I designed a 3D-printed enclosure box that the speaker snaps into. The sound is definitely as big as the 29mm speakers I have tried, and should be easier to place in the shell. It costs almost nothing to print.
I've posted the design to Thingiverse item 2220544 .
