can you please tell me what is the last Version for the 12S and were i can download it?
The last one that i have is the Nightly 27th of July 2018.
Edit:
I found a note: Voice alerts are available by installing the appropriate hardware and the latest nightly Deviationtx.com Downloads for your TX.
Unfortunaly the last Nightlies 7th and 9th of June 2019 dosen´t work, the screen is black and the TX won´t switch off. So i turn back to the old version.
Which version can i use and were can i download it?
Best wishes
Dirk

Dirk

The voice alerts for devo's must be very good, but I thing there is/are no built(s) or I can't find any builds.
Yes I know, the issues a little bit old, but very attractive.
By the way ,my question is; I have a devo 8 with "deviation-devo8-v5.0.0.dfu" and no problem, very happy with my devo8.
Now I make the hardware wirings as shown in wiki pages for voice support with "DfPlayer" but no success, I make all the modifications for hardware and software side as shown and read all the messages here. DfPlayer is working well alone. At that point, if any one wants to say something about this issue, you all welcome from now. Thanks.

Devo 8 working well, but no sounds. I thing something is missing or I'm doing something wrong. By the way, I double - double checked every step.
1- voice.ini in the media folder.
2- in the hardware.ini there are new command lines.
;Audio player connected to UART (Devo12/S internally, others via trainer
port): audiofx, dfplayer
;voice=
voice=dfplayer
;
3- I have a Tx out from devo8 to DfPlayer 's Rx in.
DfPlayer play voices from SD card without problem.(voice-EN ./ Mp3 Folder)
?
I belive that my Devo 8 will learn speak.

hexfet wrote: What protocol are you using? For devo8 the voice player will be disabled for any protocol that uses the serial port, and for FrskyX if the "s.port out" protocol option is enabled.
Dear hexfet,
I'm using mostly devo protocol with 12ch sbus rx. I understand that, I can not use voice option. Thank you.

-=Hubi-Dirk=- wrote: It happened to me once with the voice module that nothing worked and I could no longer hear any sound, after it worked before. The cause was that I had set the level to off. Maybe you have a look if this could be the reason. The setting can be found in the transmitter config / Audio volume.
Thanks for your notes about Audio volume. But I thing there is no available Nightly for devo8 for that. Because I tried all the nightlys in the downloads for devo8. But nothing, By the way there is no Audio volume section in the transmitter config menü. If you or any other friend have the right nightly may upload here or I can give my e-mail for that because I thing there is some problems in Nightly section too.

There is a setting for audio volume, the sidebar should be half the way in the middle.

BlackLotus wrote: Try with Nightly build. I'm also using Devo 8.
Dear BlackLotus, I tried all the nightly firmwares for devo8. But nothing changed, non of the nightly's have volume control tab in the tx config page.
I thing there is something wrong in .DFU files. May be, if your firmware is working you can share.

After a while some work with devo8 for voice modification but no success again.
1- Df player is working and play files in the MP3 folder by itself when triggered with button.
2- in SD card there is a mp3 folder and there is voice pack inside the mp3 folder.
3- "voice.ini" inside the media folder.
4- "hardware.ini" modified as descripted.(from BLACKLOTUS)
5- Old Dfu file changed with "deviation-devo8-v5.0.0-c84450e.dfu"(from BLACKLOTUS)
By the way there is no "sound volume setting" in the tx configuration page again, like old one.
Tried when buzzer volume;(step by step) off position to "10" nothing changed.
"PPM in" tried on all positions nothing changed.
6- I'm giving power the dfplayer before powering the tx against any delay.

I can't remember setting cause I've done this long ago.
DFPlayer with only RX connection is one directional, not bidirectional.
so I think missing volume control is caused by wrong software setup.
(But still I'm not sure )
check your firmware version in TX "ABOUT" menu.
backup models and clean up memory and replace with firmware stock files.
and I'll upload photo of what I wired DFPlayer and DSC jack to board.

hexfet wrote: The "Audio Volume" setting should appear in the transmitter config page for Devo8 regardless of whether a voice module is installed. Try installing the devo8 firmware at this link .
Hi again, I cleaned everything in memory of my Devo8, then update the Nightly Firmware again.
This firmware has a black background and there is no Audio Volume setting and (not important but) in the menus the letters does not appear.
After even modified ".ini" files, there is nothing changed.
