on the side of the switch it says "ON ON ON" then below it "0.4 VA MAX" on the the other side it says "7211" "C&K" 'USA"
Something tells me that these aren't gonna work. Thank you for helping me. I appreciate it very much. I'm learning a lot fast.

They can work. You need to wire it in a on-off-on configuration. Try this:
I've not attempted it, but it should solve your problem. Note that the center pins are connected to each other. Do it exactly the same for both switches (as in DO NOT mirror it). Good luck!

Anything you want to eat, anything,....its just going to look and taste like pretzels.lol jl/k
That did it. Thank you very very much. its not pretty in there but it works. Is there a way to put a one way spring type toggle? I'm trying to configure this to a 350 QX...
Wait, I'm still celebrating these switches!! I am so glad. I was really stumped. the way those switches look on the inside, i just figured they poles were parallel.
Thanks again
Dean

Glad it worked!
There are ways to wire in a momentary switch. The easiest is probably to tap one of the trims or buttons. The trims and buttons can be assigned to a virtual channel to give you what you want.
Try using them first and if you need, you can wire a switch in parallel to a button or trim to activate it.
A more complex method would require you to do the ultimate7e upgrade to 6 switches, but it requires a processor change. Not for the faint of heart.
Get used to the tx first, then decide what you want to do. You'll find a lot of good info and people in the forums for help. Have fun!

Check your wiring, then check your wiring again, check the diodes direction...
If that fails then
Post piccys of your wiring and your hardware.ini

Wiring and diodes look fine to me...
If the hardware.ini had the switches mentioned then that should be fine
Soooooo copy and paste of your hardware.ini (I take it that the hardware.ini you edited was already on your 7e and hasn't just been added)

El Ghetto, and probably not exactly what you are after, but chuck a rubber band on the switch, wrap it over the TX handle, then back to the switch; this will hold the switch back in the top position, and when you pull it it will return after release. Quick'ndirty, and you can remove if you want to go back to using it as a normal switch. I'm using this for "launch" mode for my DLG.Seven5555 wrote: Is there a way to put a one way spring type toggle? I'm trying to configure this to a 350 QX...

only edit the hardware.ini with something like notepad++ >>
notepad-plus-plus.org/download/v7.2.html
as the windows editors corrupt the files
