Interest in UniversalTx group buy

Edit by PhracturedBlue:
My UniversalTx progress thread is getting filled with people wanting to order one. So I am making this thread to move all those requests into. Posting in this thread in no ways implies any obligation.
Note:
- The UniversalTx is not ready to be purchased. I don't know when it will be.but we are talking multiple months at earliest
- I have no idea if a group buy is the way it will be available. This thread is just for reminders of interest
- I do not have a very good idea of cost. I would guess in the ballpark of ~$50. I will be very open about the costs, and will ensure the actual component and construction cost is available so you have a clear idea of any overhead
- I do not foresee myself being in charge of a group buy if there is one

I'd definitely take one, perhaps two if they're not terribly expensive (I like having spares).

The one review mentions an 80% failure rate. So we should plan on ordering some extras to cover that. Call it $15/board.

And note that prices are more likely to be ~$50. I haven't done the math recently, and the board process have gone up as I've improved it since the 1st revisions.
This is not the thread for trying to get a group order together though. It is also premature:
Step 1: get a board that actually works
Step 2: produce several of them and get some feedback from other than me
Step 3: have a set of prototypes manufactured by a PCB house to make sure they can be made at scale
Step 4: produce a limited run.
Final pricing can't get set until step 3 is done.

Say two people in Europe & USA buy 10/50 or whatever each. Then using PayPal, euro guy take orders for USA and makes order in China but have them sent to Us guy and he passes them out in US, the US guy does the same for Euro guy!
Paper trail leads to otherside of the pond and both came from China.
Ok does sound stupid written down...

Even though I have just completed the Multi-Module build for my white DEVO 10, I would probably be in for one Single-Board Universal Module to do a plug & play in a new black DEVO 10(much preferred color to me), and sell my white one to some unsuspecting sucke.....um, purchaser that doesn't know any better.
DEVO 10 - Multi-module with nRF24L01 +PA +LNA, A7105 +PA, & CC2500 +PA +LNA transceivers.
Nightly Build: v4.0.1-548bbf5 (6/9/2015)

Ooh, ooh! Me, me! Beta Tester, Beta Tester!
Ahhh, ....who am I kidding. I don't have enough R/C experience, or even enough models of different protocols to test all of the transceivers yet.

I'm in the UK and anything that comes from the states gets a massive import duty added.
It would be great if we could get a 2nd batch sent to Europe for distribution, direct from China.

Do you have any idea how to deal with the FCC (USA) / CE (Europe) issue?
Is it not needed, because it's not a working RC-device?
I think, It would be great, if we could convince a chinese dealer/manufacurer to take pre-orders.
