I have a config file for the Nano QX with some function that I think should interest some people.
functions:
- Sticky throttle cut : disable the throttle until you put the stick down (using Virt1, and RUDD D/R as switch))
- No need to turn on then turn off the switch to change between the agility and the stability mode (using Virt2)
- FMOD0: stability mode
- FMOD1: Agility mode/ 70% dual rate
- FMOD2: Agility mode/ 100% dual rate
- If you start the radio on FMOD1 or FMOD2, you need to put the switch on FMOD0 first to be able to pass in Agility mode (using Virt2 and Virt3)
On the Zip file you can find the modelico and the toggle.bmp that I use on my radio. I made the config on a Devo8 with DeviationTX 3.0

Try 125% rates, and set throw to:
min=-250
max=250

Sorry for the noob question... Can anyone help me out with config file for devo7e? with the limited switch, I wasnt able to get it to work with the .ini posted. most of it seems cater for devo 8s/10/12s which has way more switches...
Was hoping to have a default setting that is the same as the nqx RTF... Is it recommended to use the TH for switching between stability/agility mode (Can I have pointed on how to do this)? I'll just keep the FMOD as my D/R...
Sorry that I'm not too familiar with deviation as i just flashed it yesterday... I'm ok with the devo menu but am overwhelmed by the deviation menu...

I've been using the .ini posted by jason4207 (I believe it belongs to Daryoon but my nqx keeps rotating to the left even with my rudder trim all the way to the right... Any idea how to fix this?

Hi !
Now I would need your help : I would like to invert the F-Mode-Switch (Devo 7e) which means Agility-Mode on F-Mode 0 and SAFE-Mode on F-Mode 1. I have absolutely no idea how this virtual mixer stuff works.

Depending on the way you configured it:
- simple mixer: touch the switch label. There will be an "!" in front telling you that the input is reversed - ready
- expo&dr mixer: change the switches to the other values with the arrows at the left and right
- complex: go to the pages and change the switch as above

Tried to replace all appearing !FMODE0 with FMODE0 (in the radio). No result.
Then !FMODE0 with !FMODE1. No result.
And then !FMODE0 with FMODE1. Same . . .
One of the mentioned above actions showed positive result (don't remember which) but just for one time.
Since I absolutely don't know what virtual mixers do or how they have to be used respectively (most irritating : when a virt. mixer has itself at source like in Virt3) it's just a matter of trial and error for me . . .
Thanks anyway.

It's not really possible to do this because I assume that you want start automatically your nanoQX on Agility mode and that it's not possible, at least I didn't find how to do this.
The select mode function on the nanoQX is done on Spektrum's radio with a push button so the channel used for this with go up when you press the button and go down when you release it. The nanoQX need the up-down on the channel to switch between mode and the virtual channel is used to simulate the press and release on the button.
If you still want change to position of stability/agility mod on the switch you will need to put the switch on FMOD1 when you'll start the nanoQX.

The reason why I did ask for this solution has been that I wanted the FMODE switch use the same - logical - way like the TH switch. To remember : I use the DEVO7e (I own a DEVO 8 too). Moving the switch towards the body always means : SAFE - that's the idea behind.
Anyway - your ini-file was great help and I hope I will learn a lot from it; I still wasn't able to look behind the virtual-mixer-mistery, I hope to get it some times (at the moment I only can program a "normal" heli ini).
Maybe I can manage it to program the ini in a way where I am forced to start the nano with activated FMODE1 (as you advised).

- On virt2 channel page 1 you have to use FMOD1 as source
- On virt3 channel page 2 you have to use !FMOD1 as source
The virt3 channel is used to block the simulation sequence until you put the switch on FMOD1 if when you start the radio it's not on this position.

Whatever switch at FMODE is on, it is always SAFE mode. Switching then changes into agility mode. So if I want FMODE1 SAFE I have to plug in battery with FMODE1 ON.
Nevertheless I'll try your advice.

I have my Blades bound to my DX7, but picked up a Devo 6S cheap, so trying it.
I installed firmware V3.0, installed the Devo8 File System, and all looks OK.
I then copied Daryoon's Model 10 .ini file, and it looks OK.
BTW, I also use his WLToys V911 model on my Turnigy 9XR, so I love his work!)
However, I can't get the nQX to bind, and it just sits there in binding flash mode.
What should I do, please?
Cheers,
Chris

I am really new to the quad world and just recieved my nano qx and the devo 6s.
Been busy reading what I can but could someone point me to any existing files for the nano qx with 6s? I was hoping to get some flight time with the 6s instead of the included control. Thanks!
