Hi,

Im after a config file for a 7E for the super cp for beginner settings. I know theres a devo10 file for it but to be honest im completely new to programming a heli radio/deviation and so im a bit lost when it comes to editing it to correspond to what swtiches the 7e doesnt have compared to the 10. I got my super cp cheap 2nd hand as i wanted the 7E for my quad, so i was basically getting a free heli. I think i may as well try and fly it if i got it.

And where do i get a copy of the 7E emulator from? Cant seem to find it on the site.
If anyone could help me out it would be really appreciated.

This is what I am using - cut off Tom Z's beginner's template. I have added a little negative pitch for flying in the wind. The picture is off here as well but I can't recall who posted it... :unsure:

Awesome thanks guys, got me flying... until my tail motor decided to die. This is why i tend to avoid micro rc models as they are just too fragile and temperamental.

EDIT: so seems the tail motor works when its plugged into the main motor connector, but neither works from the tail motor connector so i think the board is dead.

I am totaly new in programming a Tx for a helicopter too.

For what is channel 7 in this config file?

And if there is a little bit negative pitch in this file in whitch position should be my throttle stick at binding?

The amount of pitch programmed in doesn't make any difference, just make sure the throttle stick is at the lowest position.

Can i use the silver buttons on the Devo 7e for the gyro channel?

I think no, but you can use the trims of the throttle stick instead...

How can i get the model file and the bmp in my nightly build?

I have tried it, but after copy and paste and switch on the tx it shows "bad/missing protocol".

This happens if you did not copy the "protocol" folder from the devo7 file system on your tx. Has nothing to do with model configs or icons.

The protocol file is added to file system. The devo 7e works perfect until i add the new model file from above.

Just put it in the "models" folder. Did you rename it? It must have a name like modelXX.ini where XX is a unique number between 1 and 99 and they have to be used without any gaps in numbering (search stops if a number is unused; overwrite a model for which you haven't made a config or choose the next free number). Otherwise it will not be found.
But I don't believe that a wrong named file will harm.
...I tested the file in the emulator. Files with wrong names are not recognized, nothing more happened.
