Hello,

i would like to by a V959 up. v222 with the v202 protocol.
I have just installed the nrf24l01 to my Devo 7e and control with this the JD-185.

Now my question, is it possible that i can control the light, cam,... with the devo 7e?
I need to install switch? Or can i control this with the trim buttons?
Which firmware must be installed?

Thanks in advance.

Greats from Germany

Sascha

Thank you, for your File.
One Question a least.
Have have to rebind the v222 every time
when i cut the Lipo off.
Is it normal?

With my JD-185 it will automaticly bind.

hello Sascha,

are u flying your Devo 7e + nrf24l01 w/ JXD JD-385? or really JD-185? (thought it's somehow a typo)

2 questions:
1. How do you get auto-binding? I have to rebind my JD-385 everytime, which is very troublesome.

2. What's your control range? My Devo 7e is using default 150mW + nrf24l01 (WITHOUT PA + LNA), I only got 5m or something... can only fly indoor right now :(

Hello yidic,

yes it is the JD-385. I bind it one time in the Modelconfig and then it will rebind every time automaticly.

At first i had some NRF24l01 without PA and the range were round about 7 Meters.

Now with the PA and LNA it is over 15 Meters. In this range it is not possible to check the orientation of the JD-385.

And sorry for my english ;-)

Thanks for the clarification!

I'm definitely gonna get a NRF24L01 with PA then.

What do u mean by "I bind it one time in the Modelconfig"? Do u mean fixed ID?

Ok. What for a antenna do you use?
Do you have to rebind it every time?

SeByDocKy,
Thx for the info! I've already ordered a new nRF24l01+PA module to test out. Will update u
results later. ;)

Sascha,
My old nRF24l01 does not come w/ an antenna. Using default Tx Output power.
Yes, I have to press "Bind" every time I switch on my Devo 7e. It doesn't auto-bind my JD-385.
Do I need to set a Fixed ID?
