Starting a thread on the subject. This first post is a not much more than placeholder.
This is not really a thread for general discussion on all things X5 related. The focus should be on the configuration file for Deviation TX for the appropriate Syma X5 models.
X5, X5C, X5C-1, X5SC?
I think there might me a justification for separate threads for the X5 variants that set "[protocol_opts] SymaX5C=Off" versus those that set it ON. Maybe that means the original X5C gets it's own thread? Maybe I have that wrong, but I do know that protocol option is off for some, and on for others.
There is an ongoing thread in the "requests" subsection that should be brought to a new real X5SC thread. Would that be this thread thread?

Replied by vroomvroom on topic Syma X5 config.
This is the model config file I used for my Syma X5 with Devo 7E/10. Hold1 is throttle cut, and FMODE is the 2 rates.
