I own a Devo 10 and had tried out the referred ini. Had to make slight adjustments due to different switch installation.
Does work fine, I just don't know how to get access to gyro adjustment (gyro seem to work).
I also have the stock DXe radio and it looks like tail holds a little bit better.

Hi Hr !
Do you mean the HORIZON HOBBY micro AH-64 Apache (I don't know another one) ?
In this case you can take my ini-file (don't forget to rename).

Please note that the Devo 7e I use has the switches mod. - a two-way-switch and a three-way-switch.
The two positions of the 2 way switch are A1 and A2, the 3-way positions are B0-B1-B2.
Switch A is the PANIC switch (position A2), switch B is the flight mode selector.
The value of channel 5 is set by both switch A and B.
If you go in Panic Mode switch A overrides any Channel 5 value and sets channel 5 on 150.
Switch B sets channel 5 depending on the flight mode you choose.
B0 is Stability Mode with Cannel 5 on 100
B1 is Normal Mode with Channel 5 on 0
B2 is Stunt Mode with Channel 5 on -100

I hope I could help
Gerhard

Thank you very very mach...for the very clear description I will use it and will let you know how it works.
I use devo with 2 3way switches mod,As I understand you are not using in this file the original mode switch so I think to use it for panic mode
Is it Ok?

Yes of course.
Let's say your Panic-Switch is defined as A and has the Positions A0, A1 and A2 : A0 is normal flight under the flight mode you have chosen. Switching to PANIC therefore means A1. A2 has nothing to do.
Did you gain experience with the Panic-Mode ?
If not be careful ! The heli is nearly unmaneuverable under "Panic", though he looks stable. This is very important to know under windy conditions, the wind will blow your heli away ! And don't forget that you have to disable Panic knowingly ! The Panic-Button with original Spektrum radios is a momentary switch; panic is just as long as you press the button !

Hi !
Yes, I do fly the Apache with the Devo7. But honestly I have to notice, that the Apache flies by far not so well like with the Devo10 or the Spektrum DX6. But he is flyable, no doubt.
I have downloaded your ini-file and loaded it into my Devo7e.
A first notice : There is no Channel 7 with this heli (not only this, it's for all Blade's), we do have only 6 Channels ! Though the radio is able to handle 7 channels, we only need 6 !
OK - switch on your radio and go to /MainMenu/2.Transmitter Menu/2.Channel Monitor/
You'll find "Mixer Output".
Move all sticks and switches an watch the reactions.
Look at Ch5 - what's the value you find ? 125 ? No matter which switch you move ?
In this case your heli is under permanent PANIC mode - you know what it means. No wonder that you can't take off.

Notice :
Channel 5 rules the modes you want the heli to fly with (Don't forget that You also have to programme all other channels like roll, bank, pitch etc. accordingly to the Flight Modes).
Remember what I had said :
- The value of channel 5 is set by both switch A and B.
A - PANIC Switch (on my radio)
B - Flight Mode Switch (on my radio)
- If you go in Panic Mode switch A overrides any Channel 5 value
and sets channel 5 on 150.
- Switch B sets channel 5 depending on the flight mode you choose.
B0 is Stability Mode with Cannel 5 on 100
B1 is Normal Mode with Channel 5 on 0
B2 is Stunt Mode with Channel 5 on -100

I have noticed that you have Flight Mode on a 2 way switch.
That doesn't matter as long as you don't need to go into Stunt Mode.

What you should do is to go into your /Main Menu/Transmitter Menu/Channel Monitor/.
Hitting R+ brings You into "Stick Input".
The "UP+" and "DN-" buttons will scroll You through axes and switches and their proper names. Write them down.

Then you have to decide which function which switch will have to manage.

I hope I didn't confuse too much . . .
In the case You can't go on I think the best way will be:
Simply tell me
- which switch you have on your radio, lets say from left to right
- which function every switch shall manage

I hope I could help
Gerhard

Hi !
Channel 5 shall only be affected by :
- PANIC (switch or button)
In your case value 150 is fine !
- Flight Mode Switch as I had described
Nothing else (i.e. Aileron etc.) !
Perhaps it's best you attach your actual ini and a description of your switches on your radio as I had advised in my last post. Then I'll try to check the ini, I hope I can help.
Regards
Gerhard

Hi !

I'm sorry to see that you are in troubles !
Therefore I beg for patience !
OK - just for sure, because I'm a little bit confused about your switch description.
Again : Your switches are from left to right
1st - 2way switch (original), function Throttle Hold I assume (?)
2nd - 3way switch (mod), function shall be PANIC (?)
3rd - 3way switch (mod), function shall be Flight Mode (?)
4th - 2way switch (original), no function (?)
Correct ?
I ask because here we have 4 switches - You had mentioned only 3 switches.

Next let's repeat your switches' status :
Watching your radio's channel monitor/stick input the switches should be entitled as follows :
1st - HOLD0 / HOLD1
2nd - SW A0 / SW A1 / SW A2
3rd - SW B0 / SW B1 / SW B2
4th - FMODE0 / FMODE1
Same with your radio ? Depending on your wiring it could be that 2nd and 3rd are swapped.

Next I urgently would need your actual ini file.

Basics :
Motor does run up ?
Swashplate moves the right way both cyclic moves and pitch (for test please unplug motor first !)

Regards
Gerhard

Thanks a lot for response !
Now I can see more clear.
I hope I can help you with the ini file, I'm unsure at the moment, I'm not very familiar wwith editing ini files directly, but I'll see what I can do for you. It'll take a little bit of time, please be patient !
Just for sure : I assume you have renamed the ini file in "model6-2.ini".

One thing I had noticed :
You want 3rd to be FlightMode and 4th to be PANIC. No problem so far.
But :
You have to make sure that you don's activate PANIC erratically when you apply FlightMode Switch. Don't forget that the original PANIC Button with the Spektrum Radio (I own a new DX6) is a momentary switch, that means PANIC is only active as long as the PANIC Button is pressed. The switch on your (and mine) radio will stay in PANIC mode once switched. I tell because this happened to me and I had been wondering about the strange heli behaviour. Therefore think about it.

Hi again !
Checked your ini with my radio - channel 5 wasn't configured properly. You've had PANIC permanently.
Now it seems to work concerning channel 5.
Therefore I send back a fixed ini, give it a try and report.
You'll have to rename my model48 (2).ini !
Regards
Gerhard
