WLToys v930 setup for Devo 7e was created by Unihiron
I found the original post here but it's over a year old:

I have a Devo 7e modded with the NRF24L01 module. I am curious to know how does the WLToys V930 fly "out the box" with no customization to the stock protocol in Deviation. I'm choosing this Heli as I already fly a number of 6-axis toy quads and I have read that you can turn off 6-axis and fly the v930 one in 3-axis mode in the future. I'm curious to know how you do that with the Deviation firmware. Also, has anyone successfully adapted a Devo 10 file to a Devo 7e to fly their helis? I have not bought the helicopter so I can't just do "trial and error". It is worth a lot of money for me and I would like to know what I'm getting into before I buy one.

Thanks.

The florida heli's 930 ini flight model, as per the link above, is superb, I run that in my Devo 10, all covered and has three flight modes in both 6g and 3G, superb ini file for these helis. they are ripper fliers on the devo. I'd go as far as saying this is the best FP heli out there once mated to the Devo 10, stock tx is a total piece of crap and pretty well unflyable, pity cause the heli is superb.

look for section 10.25 protocol - KN in the devo manual for channel assignments. pretty easy simple to switch 6G to 3G.
