Help!! Devo7E V977 Pitch Jumping around Zero Pitch

As you can see, when I switch to 3D mode (Hold1), pitch started to jump around zero pitch.
Please check my model ini and let me know how to fix this issue.
Thanks

I do not own the V977 or have experience with that model or KN protocol programming...
AIL scalar=50: Should that be DualRate?
Elev Subtrim -85: Subtrim on FBL?
IU1 on Hold switch? What??? F-Mode should be used for N, IU1/ST1/FM1 and hold for motor off.
I do not see any pitch curve e.g 5 or 9 pint curve.
Whole model ini seems somehow weird to me.
Would have to test later...
Well you would need either F-Mode or Mix for 3 axsis vs 6 axis switches as well as.
Try either the advanced mixer GUI NONE or FBL template of my heli summary developer thread and adjust for KN/V977: www.deviationtx.com/forum/6-general-disc...eased?start=60#53953
In the link list there is the Howo write FBL heli model file linked as well as.
Aren`t there any ready to use V977 model files on Wiki or model config forum
- with correct switch assignment (e.g safety hold)
- some DualRate/Expo mixers
- proper 5-9 point pitch curve mixers (both 0% mid point for N+IdleUp1)

Well, noone needs the V977 heli as there are emus or transmitter / channel monitor
You would have to see the pitch jumping already on pitch channel (on monitor) when Fmode does not use same 0% values at mid point.

What 4.0.1-nightly-build?
5.0.0 release?
5.0-nightly-build?
Gerhard wrote about a similar "pitch jumping issue around mid stick" on version deviation-devo10-v5.0.0-b28961 (5.0 nightly-build).

I have no issue at all other 15 models. Only this model ini. jumps mid stick.
I have other ini for V977 which is great data so I really don't have to use this ini.
But I want to find the reason for curiosity and learning purpose.

That change (CH8 safety NONE) solved issue.
No more pitch jumping at all.
Thanks a lot!!!
BTW I have absolutely no idea about Advanced GUI mixer, Can you please teach me more?
1, How to change head speed both 3D and 6G mode?
2, How to change gyro gain if I can?
3, How to change pitch range? (I know V977 can't set throttle and pitch curve separately but just want to change pitch range)
4, How to change pirouette speed (Rudder)?
5, How to change amount of cyclic range (Dual rate)
Attached is Model ini after changed CH8 safety to NONE
Thanks in advance.

The V977 is the hardest heli there is to program because the KN protocol is very screwy. You might want to learn on a more standard heli first (most any non WL Toys) because they are easier to program. Below is a link to a V977 model file that I created. The post documents the V977 channel layouts and the switch assignments that I set up. It has most of the functions you wanted in your previous post, but uses switches that you don't have. You will need to either only implement a couple of features at a time on your 7E switches or re-assign them to buttons or trim switches on the 7E. This would probably be good practice to learn your way around.

Note: gyro gain is not adjustable on this heli

I would say a model.ini setup for FBL with a good explanation may help you further instead of having to go thru “unknown templates“ on yourself.
For my given new 3rd 6ch_heli_FBL.ini (advanced GUI) FBL template: I copied it over from provided 6ch-heli.ini template and removed cyclics/virtual channels.
Its a start / draft. Has to be develped further. It may not have proper gyro gain channel setup.
Not sure about any proper FBL model.ini`s.

Thanks for your help again!
I finished adding 2x3 position Switches and checked function by the channel monitor.
It's working good.
Now I want to make V977 model.ini similar to your Devo8S V977 ini.
I'm trying to figure out which one can convert to added switch A0, A1, A2 and B0, B1, B2 from your Devo8S model ini.
If you can help, please let me know your suggestion.
Thanks.

To change a switch assignment in the mixer I will give an example for Rud D/R in my V977 8s model file listed above..
ENT button -> scroll to '1 Model Menu' and ENT -> scroll to '2 Mixer' and ENT -> scroll down to the right 'Expo&DR' box beside '4-Rud' and press ENT
The mixer for the Rudder dual rates is now displayed, it goes way beyond the bottom of the display.
Scroll down using DN until 'Switch1 / ELE DR1' is highlighted and then just toggle the switch on the transmitter you would like to use instead of the ELE DR1 switch. The new switch name should display. You can also select a switch by scrolling thru the list using the R and L buttons. Now just scroll up using the 'UP' button until the 'Save' box is highlighted and press ENT. Thats it, just press EXT multiple times to exit all the way out.
The most common problem when using the mixer is forgetting to 'Save' your changes.
