Is the WLTOYS Q212g supported? was created by steeda423
I've heard the Q212g is a v686 with a different body... I've tried a few of the WLTOYS setups listed in the model database, V686, V666, V323,etc. It kinda feels like it initially binds v686 setup but the Q212 has a unique starting sequence, and I've had not luck getting the engines started.
Thanks for all the knowledge I've already gained from this forum!

I was able to figure it out.. It uses the same setup as the Tarantula X6. The V202 protocol. To start the engines, both sticks down and to the center. To stop the engines, throttle to -100 and wait 5 seconds.. It's a long time but they will eventually shut off. The Q212 should probably be added to the Model Database.
Attached is a basic model config for the Q212. Hacked from my setup for my X6. 3-Rates using the FMODE switch. The RUD/DR is set to shut off the motors but it does not seem to work. Basic model config but it flies better than stock.
BTW this is for the Devo 10.
Hope someone else can benefit from this.
