set up for umx carbon cub ss was created by mmoniz
been out of rc for over 15 years. just getting back in and having trouble setting up the umx carbon cub ss on a devo 8s. i have bound with sucess. the flaps are stuck full down and servo making one hell of a racket. i'm at a loss. any help is appreciated.

On your Channel Monitor, what does Channel 5 look like? (pretty sure that's flaps on the AR6400, from my reading of the manual)

Reverse the flap channel, that will bring them up. Then you can setup a 3 way switch to have 3 positions, if you do it via a virtual channel you can also add delay.

let me know how it goes, I could give you my model file with all the bells and whistles such as flaps delay, up elevator mix on flaps, etc but it's much better if you learn to do it by yourself.

OMG! I know this is a LOOONG time ago, but would you still happen to have the UMX Carbon Cub SS .ini file I can download to my Jumper T8SG plus V2? Heck! I'd even pay you for that! How much???

I should have the file somewhere, but I have Devo 10 so not sure if it's 100% compatible with your radio. Should be I think.

Sorry I can't find the file anymore, my Devo 10 is empty - it's been a while since last time I went flying. I still have the Carbon Cub SS in it's box so I can always re-create the config if you're willing to give me a few days.

I crashed it pretty good and while trying to update my Jumper T8SG Plus radio....I got a blank screen. So, it looks like I'll need a new radio anyway. thinking about getting a Spektrum DX6 or DX6e.
Thanks for the offer anyway but its's been a bad week for RC's for me!
