XINLIN X165 supported? was created by Fer
Is XINLIN X165 supported by deviation? I usually only buy quads that are already flyable with my DEVO 10, but this was selling so cheap (purchased it for a little more than 6 euros), that i couldn't resist. Anyone knows what protocol it uses?

Yes, i have received the quad long time ago. I have only flown it a couple of times.
Here are a few pics, i hope it helps determine the chip and maybe the protocol.

Too bad, this chip is currently not supported by deviation firmware. It is the same chip as in the jjrc h31. I was asking about this model a few weeks ago.

LOL... this explains why X165 and JJRC H31 are the only quads in my fleet of numerous quads that don't fly with the DEVO. I had a couple more (AVIAX H2O and Global Drone 0007-1, or something like that), that wouldn't bind with DEVO, but i sold them. Not that they weren't good drones, they were actually, but i couldn't fly them with my DEVO. If it doesn't fly with the DEVO, it is not worth flying.
The X165 flys not so well with the stock tx. The throttle is like it is an on/off switch. I have seen this in many other quads, and they all perform excellent after i bind them with DEVO.

Take a look at the F36 and GW008 threads. Goebish is working on an emulation for LT8910 TXes, but this is still work in progress.

The GW008, global drone skull drone is already deviated. I know because i have it and it is really nice. The GW007-1 is another story, different protocol, not deviated. For the F36 i don't know, i don't own it.

It depends on the version of GW008 you have...
