I have tried binding with the 010 protocol, using multiple combinations of transmitter output power, number of channels, and I.D.s. No luck as of yet. Many have also said the same on the rcgroups forums.

Mine will arrive shortly... this chinywhoop seems a good deal, we all hope it will be deviated sooner or later!

I decided to jump the gun. I took my Eachine 010 brain and simply swapped it with the f36 brain. Lighter frame, more punchy motors, deviated protocol. Flies quite nicely!

I've got a Devo 7e with 4in1 and a new F36. I've also got a logic analyzer. But there is no seperate radio chip on the F36 receiver board. The TX also uses a single chip for everything, so no sniffing on the SPI bus. Anything else I can try to help contribute to the efforts ?

that's not good news, the only option now afaik is to use an sdr setup and pull the data from the air. that's a much more expensive setup and again afaik a more involved procedure

Tossed out the F36 fc and replaced it with a E010 fc. Works brilliantly well. At some point in time I was actually thinking of buying a HackRF One. Not worth the time and money.

Could this be the chip used in the TX and RX ? It is available in SSOP16 and SSOP24 packages.

Is it just me or does the H8 mini TX have an almost identical PCB layout to the F36 ? The E010/H36 PCB looks completely different.
