Is it possible to implement an adjustable alarm when the radio is not used? to avoid emptying the batteries!

This has already been done, and is available in the nightly builds thanks to DomCars.

Parles tu de « Power-down alert: » ? Moi je recherche une alarme quand on oubli d’éteindre la radio.

Translation

Are you talking about "Power-down alert:"? I'm looking for an alarm when you forget to turn off the radio. Sorry for my English.

No, there is implemented an alert when the tx is not used (no movement of the sticks) for (configurable) 1 to 60 minutes. You can find it in the tx configuration menu (called "Power On Alarm").

It is in the nightly build since a few days (about a week), not in the regular code. I attached a screenshot from Devo12:

Checked with Devo8 emulator: it is present at the same location. Which build do you use (please look at USB page, you will see something like "devo8-v3.0.0-XXXXXXX - theses 'X' are interesting)?
As PB has written above it is not in the regular 3.0.0 version, but it will be included in the next release.

Have you only errors concerning the DLLs? Then please read this: you-need-these-dlls

This looks as if the file system you use is not correct. You should have a structure like this:
├───filesystem
│ └───devo8
│ ├───media
│ ├───template
│ ├───models
│ ├───modelico
│ ├───language
│ └───tx.ini
└───emu_devo8.exe
When you look at the USB drive you will only see the tx.ini and the directories media, template, models, modelico and language.
For the emulator the above shown structure is necessary.
If you create this, the "file not found" issues should be gone.

How exactly does the "power on alarm" work? I have tested on Devo 7e and set to 1mn - should the alarm activate after 1 minute? Nothing happens on mine, am I missing something?

No, the 5 directories and 2 files of your first picture should be under the filesystem/devo8/ directory, i.e. 2 dirs deeper then in the tx.

If you don't touch anything during 1mn .... then the alarm must beep.
In fact "Power On alarm" is not a very good name... It's an "Idle TX Alarm"...

Devo 10 (+7e) owner. It's mine, please don't touch it with your big fingers

It does on my Devo8. It is important not to move the sticks for one minute (or the selected time). Every movement resets the timer.

It's not working for me and have not touched anything. Have tried copying new filesystem and protocol again but still nothing. Has anyone else confirmed this working on Devo 7e? Are there any other setting that need changing? Yes I think TX idle alarm would be a better name.
