Hmm, anyone know why I can bind my H101b lynx TX to my h107c without issue yet my devo 7e will only bind to the h107c but not to the h101b?

We would need a SPI bus dump from the H101b lynx TX to know why it doesn't work.

Probably something is different in the bind stage.

I can bind my H102D without problem .... try to change ID to 1111 or other value. It should work with the actual Hubsan implementation. Can you bind something else using the A7105-500 RF chip ?

Tried changing the ID but it made no difference, I have noticed that the LED on the heli does change(flashes abnormally) when I try to bind so it is doing something, is there a specific ID number it needs?

Tx works fine with the h107c and various flysky helis btw.

PeaTearGryphon,

if you want to contribute, get a logic analyzer , take a picture of the inside of your H101b TX then we can tell you how to hook it up to dump the spi bus so we can try to understand why the bind stage doesn't work.

Do you have an H107C stock TX ?
Does it work with the H101b ?

Ok, I know how to attach the analyzer to the H107C TX if you decide to get one :)

Look at what I got in the mail this morning:

Better late than never, I wanted the protocol to be reversed and implemented into Deviation before buying one... I didn't need one more useless toyish TX ;)

I had a flew flights in the flat with fatshark goggles (it's raining cats & dogs outside), this thing is a blast ! Better overall quality than what I expected.

Thumbs up Hubsan !

Looks great, gonna have one myself sometimes (but no Fatsharks here so I'll probably go for RTF). Have to admit Hubsan is one of the better chinese companies, they really design and make nice things.

Get the H107L profile:
www.deviationtx.com/forum/protocol-devel...e-way?start=20#12855

Then set your favorite vTX frequency in the protocol options screen.

My vrx supports frequencies only in one band

5.733 CH1 1--2--3--4
5.752 CH2 1--2--4
5.771 CH3 1--3--4
5.791 CH4 1--4
5.811 CH5 2--3--4
5.829 CH6 2--4
5.848 CH7 3--4
5.867 CH8 4

There was talk of setting the h107d vtx frequencies in increments of 1. Will it actually be able to use any of the frequencies above or will it only actually work on the 5mhz intervals?

Also, If I want to fly both a h107C and D, should I just use the model config posted on the first page for both and use the protocol settings menu to get at the vtx and telemetry options for the D model?

Try a simple thing: edit your profile .ini and change VTX_MHZ value to the value you want.

If that doesn't work, can you build the firmware from source code ?
If yes it's as simple as editing this line in src/protocol/hubsan_a7105.c
#define VTX_STEP_SIZE "5"
change the 5 to 1, rebuild the firmware, flash it and you're done.

If you can't build it I can make a version for you, just ask but better learn to do it by yourself so you can keep up with updates.

Also, If I want to fly both a h107C and D, should I just use the model config posted on the first page for both and use the protocol settings menu to get at the vtx and telemetry options for the D model?

You can use the same profile, and the h107C DOES have telemetry ;)

edit: if you set your vrx to 5.791 and the vtx to 5.790 for example it should work pretty well anyway.
Which brand is your vrx ?

vrx is from rclogger. now I just have to convince myself I can add the module to my brand new devo 10 without destroying it. going to need some practice tinning and not bridging connections first.

Less than one hour after I got my Devo 10 the a7105 module was installed ;)

That's nothing really difficult, don't worry.
